As another year wraps up it’s hard to believe than an entire decade is also coming to a close.  I have many great travel memories from the past 10 years, including my very first trip to Italy in 2009 where I took a European business class during the summer in Rome.  After that, the rest is history.

This year’s travels included some incredibly beautiful outdoor destinations, from the jaw dropping scenery of Scotland to the otherworldly landscapes of White Sands National Monument (which recently received National Park status) and the lush green forests of Olympic National Park.  Below are just a handful of some of my favorite photos from these and other places I visited in 2019.  I’m excited to explore new destinations and return to some old favorites in the new year and new decade to come.
