Welcome to Boarding Pass!
More than 15 years ago I visited Paris for the first time and was hooked. Since then my passion for travel has turned into an insatiable wanderlust so much that I find myself in a perpetual state of “where next?” But like most people my vacation time and budget are limited so I aim to maximize both, as often as possible. This all comes down to the planning process, which I’d go so far as to say I enjoy almost as much as the trip itself.
I love to dig into the culture and history of a place – whether it’s exploring a city on foot, sampling regional cuisine or spending a rainy day in a museum – striking a balance between iconic sites and uncovered gems. Here you’ll find destination insights, daytrip ideas, recommendations and other tips I’ve learned along the way. And I might throw in a recipe or two inspired by some of my favorite places to pass the time in between trips. Follow me as I share my travel experiences and search for la dolce vita at home and afar.
