A Giveaway for Your Next Getaway!

Travel Map

Boarding Pass turns 4 this week and I’m celebrating my “blogiversary” with a special giveaway for YOU, my loyal readers!

I’ve teamed up with GPSmyCity, the maker of an iOS and Android app with more than 5,000 self-guided walks in 470+ cities around the world.  For each city you’ll find a variety of walks from exploring cultural hot spots to discovering hidden gems, food, shopping, nightlife and more.  Plus, once you load the walks you can use them offline (yay, no data charges!) to experience the best of the city on foot and at your own pace.

A total of 20 lucky winners will receive a free promo code to download one full-version city walk for the city of their choice. You can check out the full list of cities here.

HOW TO ENTER:

  1. With summer travel season around the corner, leave a comment at the bottom of this post telling me what city you dream of traveling to (and if you want, why you want go there).  Be sure to include your email address in the appropriate field so I can contact you if you are a winner (don’t worry, it won’t be visible to anyone but myself).
  1. Comments must be received no later than Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11:59pm ET to be eligible.
  1. Winners will be selected at random and will each receive one promo code to download a full-version city walk for the GPSmyCity app for free (a $4.99 value at the App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices, code must be redeemed within 28 days of receipt).
  1. BONUS: If you’re not already following Boarding Pass on social media you can do so on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (not required to win).

So thank you again for joining me on my journey and here’s to another year of exciting travel!

  1. Although I have been to Italy, I have yet to make it to my Grandfather’s hometown of Tussillo or my Grandmother’s hometown of Cassacalenda. I’d love to visit those areas someday!

  2. What a brilliant idea for a promo!
I’ve not used GPSmyCity before but it looks good compared to my usual favourite of ‘Maps.me’ for offline mapping of the places we visit. We’re thinking of Jaipur for part of my bucket list next year, mainly as a base to visit the Taj Mahal. So a guide to Agra would be a great starting point!

  3. I’m looking forward to visiting Havana in the future, but I can’t decide when. If I go now, I can see how life has been there for 50 years. If I wait a year or two it will be built-up with new casinos and more amenities but some of old Cuba will be lost.

  4. La Junta, Colorado! Wide open spaces and beautiful views as far as the eye can see. Nothing beats the beautiful Great Plains! ‘It feels like I’m standing on the earth!’ -Los Angeles resident
